Freelance Friday is a monthly-ish, in-person coffee date for freelancers and other work-from-home journalists and comms pros.

There’s no agenda other than connection and building community. You can brainstorm projects, network, and just get to know other people who are going through a lot of the same stuff you are.

The next Freelance Friday will be in June.

Our first Freelance Friday was April 24 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Reading Room in Decatur. Our freelance chair Patty Rasmussen hosted the drop-in event, open to all.
