SPJ Georgia is pleased to announce the launch of the Journalism Student Book Award for Spring 2020.
The award will grant five journalism college students in the state of Georgia with a bestselling book written by national investigative journalists. The award was established in order to provide resources and inspiration to aspiring journalists entering a turbulent field.

“Some of the best insight into incredible journalism is to read bestselling works in longform,” said SPJ Georgia President Charlotte Norsworthy. “We hope that by providing students with these resources, they will feel encouraged and inspired to pursue a career in journalism.”
Students enrolled in Georgia colleges and universities are eligible to apply until April 30 at 5 p.m. This award is open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students.
