Lunch & learn: Pitching Personal Journeys for The AJC

Have brunch on the Society of Professional Journalists Georgia Pro chapter from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 7 with editor Suzanne Van Atten and a handful of freelancers.
Suzanne is the editor of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Personal Journeys column. This award-winning feature series is printed every Sunday on the cover of the Living section.

During brunch, freelancers will discuss with Suzanne what it takes to pitch and write a Personal Journey.
This opportunity is for members of SPJ Georgia only so please join the chapter by visiting SPJ.org/join and select Georgia as your local chapter.
Registration is open on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first six members who register. Your membership will be confirmed. Registration is open here.
This event is free and includes coffee and a brunch menu item at Cafe Crema in Dunwoody.
