What: The scope of the Society of Professional Journalists Georgia pro chapter immigration reporting panel is to begin a discussion on issues involved with immigration reporting and offer tips and best practices to reporters covering the often sensitive issues associated.
Where: WSB at 1601 West Peachtree Street in Atlanta
When: Saturday April 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A light lunch will be provided starting at 11 a.m. The panel will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by time for questions and discussion.
Who: Our moderator, Curt Yeomans, who is a member of the SPJGA board and a reporter for the Gwinnett Daily Post, will cover topics related to immigration reporting and legislation.
