Sunshine week is back! The SPJ Georgia Pro chapter is hosting a discussion on police public records on Monday, March 14 at 11:30 a.m. with guests:

Dr. Carolyn Carlson, journalism professor at Kennesaw State University

Bert Roughton, senior managing editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Dr. Carlson will release findings on police public information officers and crime reporters. The discussion will focus on policies on body cam videos, social media and challenges to getting public police files for investigative reporting.
